How it Started

I started the blog as a small lockdown project. Diving wasn’t possible and I wanted to explore the topics around the sport/hobby/activity/pastime that interested me.

There seemed to be a gap in mainstream publications to discuss scuba diving honestly without the pressure of advertisers to say the right thing.

Things slightly spiralled into the blog today.

About me

My name is Max Eaton and I’ve been diving and working in and around our oceans for over 20 years. An underwater photographer and writer, I’ve been fortunate to be published in Diver magazine in the UK.

An ex-naval officer, I now work in the maritime technology industry. My passion is the pursuit of scuba diving, the people who do it and the underwater world it lets us explore.
